Dominic has 33 years’ experience in criminal and employment investigations and has completed workplace grievance (bullying and harassment) and misconduct investigations within the Public and private sectors, as well as a variety of criminal investigations across a broad spectrum of offences. He has investigated sexual assault cases to criminal investigation standards as well as investigations of sexual misconduct within the Public and Private sectors. He has significant experience in conducting investigations relating to Bullying and Harassment as well as breaches of the Equality Act, including allegations of discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, marital status, age, and maternity. Dominic has worked at the Home Office, as well as providing expert opinion within the Ministry of Justice regarding Restorative Justice and conducts investigations on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, regarding allegations of Bullying and Harassment, at all levels and ranks. He has current Security Clearance and is DBS checked.
Dominic is a former Hostage and Crisis negotiator and provides leadership and management training based on these skills. He is an advanced investigative interviewer and an accredited Restorative Justice practitioner, case supervisor and trainer. He is an Associate University lecturer, specialising in Criminal Justice and Policing.
Dominic has designed and delivered training to Senior Police officers on their role within Police complaints, grievance investigations and Employment Tribunals.
Dominic is also heavily involved in work-place mediation and has successfully negotiated written agreements with parties in conflict, which have a proven track-record of providing a sustainable solution to conflict.
