Emma Bolton loves being proactive, especially with people and people problems. Why? Because in her experience, most of the time they are avoidable and therefore businesses can waste a lot time and money dealing with these problems unnecessarily.
She has enjoyed a great start into Management with Sainsburys PLC for 8 years, followed by a 20+ year career in HR, and for the later stages of this she has made a shift towards great cultures, great communication and honest conversations, being the foundations to reducing conflict and people problems within the workplace.
Most of her HR career has been with Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service where she developed her expertise and knowledge with investigations, grievances, transformational HR, culture change, leadership pathways, talent management and coaching.
Emma thrives on positive, meaningful interventions and supporting managers and leaders to become the best version of themselves whilst at the same time giving them the tools to enable and empower their teams as well.
She is delighted to be an consultant for The TCM Group, on a shared mission of supporting their clients.
