In 2024, after 15 years in senior leadership roles in schools, including latterly as a Headteacher, Kathryn founded a leadership, strategy and change-management consultancy, Clarion Education. Kathryn listens with empathy and advises with clarity to help organisations to navigate complexity, align policy and practice and therefore to enhance outcomes for staff, stakeholders and communities. As a Head, Kathryn led a period of sustained change, updating major policies to implement significant changes around DEI, safeguarding and organisational structure and culture.
Kathryn is a Non-Executive Director of Gaia Learning and serves both as a Governor at a primary school and on the Board of a leading performing arts independent school. She delivers Governor/trustee training and quality assures teacher training provision. She also works for a global education strategy consultancy working in reputation and organisational culture.
Kathryn lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and two daughters. They enjoy family time together, sports, the performing arts, travel and walking their energetic spaniel.
