Sharon began her HR career after University in Salford with Dixons Stores Group PLC, working as Area Personnel Officer, providing HR support and guidance to the management team, covering a patch that incorporated NI, ROI and Merseyside.

Following various HR Management posts her HR career moved into consultancy, working for Peninsula Business Services for 8 years as a Personnel Consultant, this role gave Sharon a real insight into how small to medium businesses deal with conflict and sparked an ongoing belief in her that resolving conflict had to be more that utilizing formal disciplinary and grievance procedures.

Sharon continued to work in senior HR roles including voluntary sector and set up her own consultancy in 2011 in Northern Ireland through which she provides small businesses with a variety of professional HR services.

Sharon trained as a mediator with TCM group and is a member of the CIPD and an accredited member of the Professional Mediators Association.

Sharon has also completed her ILM Level 5 certificate in 2014 in Coaching and Mentoring and provides Executive Coaching services to business owners/managers.

Sharon is also an experienced and dynamic trainer- her experiences range from in-house induction programmes to training courses covering negotiation, managing difficult conversations, coaching skills, performance management, absence management, emotional intelligence, managing high performing teams.

Sharon’s drive for “lifelong learning” is of real importance to her, giving her an enthusiastic and energetic approach for delegates to feed of- motivating and invigorating them to reach higher in their own goals.
