Angie is a TCM accredited investigator with extensive experience in conducting complex misconduct investigations and resolving sensitive disputes. With a career spanning over two decades in higher education, Angie has a very strong track record in case management, disciplinary investigations, conflict resolution and people leadership.
Her expertise includes leading investigations into misconduct, harassment (including sexual violence), Grievances and wide-ranging complaints, ensuring fair and thorough processes, whilst also advising on and paying due attention to the risk to institutional reputation. As a trained Mental Health First Aider and Safeguarding lead, Angie specialises in handling emotionally challenging conversations and high-stakes cases with professionalism, sensitivity, discretion and empathy.
Throughout her career, Angie has led major institutional initiatives alongside the People and Culture team to improve safeguarding, well-being, and misconduct reporting systems. She has worked within the senior leadership team, with external agencies (SARCS, the NHS, the Police and others involved in the criminal justice system) to develop policies that promote transparency, compliance and care to those who choose to report sexual misconduct to their organisation.
Her ability to balance organisational policies and frameworks with compassionate support for individuals makes her a trusted advisor in complex investigations and for any organisation seeking to meet (and exceed) their obligations relating to sexual misconduct and harassment in the workplace.
