About Clare Withycombe

If you think of the word ‘leader’, Clare Withycombe should come to mind. Coined the “trusted partner” of chief executives, managers and directors across the UK, Clare champions diversity and inclusion in everything she does for leadership development. With a wealth of experience in far-flung shores, such as Sub Saharan Africa, Egypt and Syria, Clare and multiculturalism are inextricably bound. Her expertise is honoured from round tables at the Cabinet Office to managers in Middle Eastern desertscapes, proving her position as an esteemed colleague at TCM.

 

Clare has nearly two decades of experience working as a professional coach and leadership development facilitator.  She is a seasoned HR professional with a background of working in a multinational environment with the British Council.  She has extensive experience in leadership development programmes and coaching individuals and teams from C-suite through to Director and operational managers.  Clare is known for her skilled work in diversity and inclusion and has designed acclaimed solutions for minority groups to enable the progression of talent in organisations.

Clare’s career history has included operational experience of regional senior management positions in the Middle East and Africa region.  More recently she has held key roles within central HR heading up global employee relations, learning and development and global coaching teams.  She is a leadership coach and facilitator with clients from a wide range of sectors, telecoms and IT, re-insurance, big 4 accountancy firms, not for profit and creative industries as well as London School of Economics, the British Council, Cabinet Office, wider Civil Service, and the London Business School.

Clare can build rapport with her clients quickly and is often referred to as a trusted partner.  She draws on a range of solution focused techniques to support clients; her ambition is to enable transformational and sustainable change.  She draws on a wealth of coaching experience and knowledge, she is a Professional Credentialed Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation and is accredited with StrengthscopeTM.
