Denise has over 30 years’ experience within and outside the UK, working with a range of industry sectors including unionised, non-unionised and third sector. Denise has a MSc in Employee Relations together with an LLB(Hons) degree. She has worked collaboratively to bring about positive improvements in employee relations through her natural ability to coach and empower those around her.
Through Denise’s friendly and intuitive approach she manages to build respect and demonstrate open and inclusive lines of communication. Denise has a natural ability to facilitate and bring a fresh and collaborative approach to workplace situations.
Denise is a skilled mediator; her experience and skills naturally lend themself to supporting and encouraging parties to mediation. Her desire to support and facilitate resolution for all parties has helped to define her open and inclusive approach.
She has worked at HR Director level both nationally and internationally. She has undertaken many high-level investigations, covering disciplinary, grievances and workplace complaints. Her outcomes provide in-depth analysis, witness statements and recommended actions that have been welcomed and implemented by respected and forward focused organisations.
Her ability to grasp key issues, build confidence and trust together with a desire to engage fully and transparently has resulted in long lasting and engaging client relationships.
Denise works geographically across the Scottish central belt and beyond. Outside of work Denise enjoys time with family and friends, is a keen runner and loves travel.
