Day 1: Understanding & Identifying Power Imbalances

Defining Power in Mediation – Explore the eight forms of power and how they impact mediation.
Recognising Power Dynamics – Learn to identify verbal, non-verbal, and behavioural signs of imbalance.
Sources of Power Imbalance – Analyse key factors such as financial, emotional, authority, and cultural power.

Day 2: Evaluating & Managing Power Imbalances

Assessing the Impact – Understand how power dynamics influence mediation outcomes.
Balancing Power in Mediation – Develop techniques to empower parties while maintaining neutrality.
Advanced Tools & Strategies – Learn ongoing assessment methods and create an action plan for future cases.

Our Power Imbalance in Mediation course is designed to provide a safe, empowering, and dynamic learning environment, whether online or in-person.
