About Cynthia Oddman-Howe

Cynthia has a wealth of HR/People experience, having worked in many organisations and business sectors for over 25 years and sees her role as working for the betterment of both the organisation and the individual employee. Latterly with accountability as an HR/People Director in both permanent and interim roles, across both the private and public sectors, domestically within the UK, but also covering roles internationally.

With a specific interest in employee relations and employment law, in addition to gaining an LLB, Cynthia has also acquired a paralegal qualification in Employment law, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and is a qualified Mediator.

From the employee relations/employment law perspective, Cynthia has managed employment tribunal cases, up to and including COT3 agreements and representation at Tribunal, the people/legal side of Mergers and Acquistions/TUPE across EMEA. Leading investigations, support/managing and chairing grievance and disciplinary cases are all part of Cynthia’s portfolio, in addition to mediation.

Cynthia has acted as a Mentor with the CIPD.
